At Don’s Pet Care & Training Center, we provide the greater Ogden, UT area with full service professional pet grooming and pet supply services. Don's Pet Care & Training Center is available to assist the public with all questions and concerns involving dog ownership and care. We provide education to owners and compassionate care to pets whenever they need to be away from home. Keep your dog healthy and looking great with regular grooming, nail and dental care.

 

Grooming:

 

We offer all breed grooming at affordable prices.  We use only a high quality shampoo and conditioner.  Our groomers have been with us for years and look forward to making your dog look its best.

 

Boarding:

When people leave their pets they want to know they will have kind human interactions, good quality food, a clean room with fresh water, good playtimes and a blanket to curl up with.

We at Don's Pet Care are dedicated to making sure each pet has the best experience possible while staying with us. Each guest will be served two meals a day of Nurto Natural Choice Chicken Oatmeal and Rice (a premium food). Each guest's room will be cleaned daily with a high quality disinfectant, given fresh water and a clean blanket. Each guest is taken out three times a day into our big yard  for a run free (no leash) supervised playtime. 

Because we are a behavioral training facility we recognize the different temperaments of our guests and their different needs. We select play groups according to the dogs personality. We usually have a senior, shy/timid group (quiet ones) and then the rock'n rollers ( the wild and care free ones)  We also have dogs that go out alone and family groups only. 

We always honor the families wishes. Some might also just need some one on one time before put into a group.  We allow the dogs to tell us what they are comfortable with.

Our kennel has two sections, one dedicated to small dogs and one to large ones. Each section has is own spacious yard for the dogs to play in. Each individual run has a space where the dog can be alone if it wants to be or it can go out a door into a 12 ft run and visit it's neighbor. Each outside run is divided by chain link fence.

We require that the dogs be currant on all shots and that you bring verification of shot records.  We suggest reservations, especially over any major holidays.  We try very hard to help get your dog in if a family emergency should arise.
All the above amenities are included in our boarding price.  We also do not charge extra for own food, medications or special needs. We look forward to taking care of your dog
