About Us

Don's Pet Care and Training Center is a small, family owned business built upon a love of people and pets.  Don and Dona Sellers are the owners. They have been  helping build the relationships between people and thier dogs for 24 years. They have developed a Boarding Kennel Facility that allows peace of mind when leaving your pet.
 
We specialize in teaching clear communication between human and canine. Our goal is for you to have life long relationship with your dog by using balanced training techniques. We teach functional obedience, good manners and control in all situations.  Building a solid foundation allows you to expand your dogs education.  Through the years we have helped many dogs go into fields such as search and rescue, guide dogs for the blind, therapy work, obedience competition, agility, and dogs that assist people with physical disabilities.



We offer group classes (surviving puppy hood 101) and private appointments. Our puppy kinder garden classes meet once a week for eight weeks, each class is an 1 1/2 hours long, held in our large training building which is disinfected before each class. The puppies ages range from at least 12 weeks of age to about six months. We deal with all breeds from the smallest Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane. 

In our classes we will cover; chewing, digging, barking, biting, jumping, house soiling, sit, down, stay, go to bed, stay in the house, crate training, first aid, not pulling and handling exercises.  If you don't cover your concerns, each class has a question and answer period which you can ask your questions. We will also have some puppy play times.  As you can see our classes are packed with information!
